Uniform Policy

1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to establish clear guidelines regarding the uniform expectations for all staff members of Carextra Staffing. The goal is to ensure a professional, consistent, and hygienic appearance for all employees while maintaining a high standard of health, safety, and comfort for both staff and service users.

 

2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees, including healthcare assistants, nurses, support workers, and any other staff who are required to wear a uniform while on duty, whether on-site at healthcare facilities or in the community.

 

3. General Uniform Guidelines

Uniforms: All staff must wear the official Carextra Staffing uniform provided or approved by the company.

The uniform should be clean, neat, and in good condition at all times.

Footwear: Staff must wear appropriate, closed-toe footwear that is comfortable, non-slip, and provides adequate support.

Identification Badges: All staff must wear their official Carextra Staffing identification badge while on duty.

 

4. Health & Safety Compliance

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): In situations where PPE is required (e.g., handling hazardous materials, direct patient care, or during the COVID-19 pandemic), staff must wear the appropriate PPE as specified by management.

Hygiene Standards: Employees are expected to maintain high standards of personal hygiene, ensuring that uniforms are clean and free of stains.
